Wild boar
A powerful, stocky animal with a wedge-shaped body covered with stiff bristles. An adult male (cleaver) weighs 120-200 kg, body length 170-200 cm.
The male's lower canines are up to 20-25 cm long, while the upper canines are shorter but sharper, used to sharpen the lower ones.
Has excellent hearing and nose, but weak eyesight. The only ungulate that can purposefully attack a hunter.
It is best to shoot under the shoulder blade or in the neck. Shooting at the body (due to the powerful thyroid fold of fat and rough skin) often leads to injury if the bullet is weak.
It is impossible to drive the wounded immediately. You need to wait 30-40 minutes for the beast to lie down and lose blood.
The cleaver is extremely dangerous: it stops abruptly, turns around, and rapidly approaches.
