The height at the withers is about 1 meter, the weight of an adult male is on average 75-100 kg, the body length is 160-180 cm. Males wear light 4-terminal horns (up to 80 cm).

A very secretive, timid and cautious animal with a keen sense of hearing and instinct. It is extremely difficult to notice it in the thickets. The rut takes place in September and November, the males emit a roar and actively mark the territory, breaking the ground with their hooves and breaking branches. Swims well.

Antlers — young antlers have a high pharmaceutical value, which is why the species has historically been heavily exterminated.

• Animal under 1 year — 70,000 RUB.
• Surcharge for each additional tine over five — 10,000 RUB.
