Elk
Moose is a coveted trophy for any hunter
It is the largest representative of the deer family living in the forest area. A large male reaches a weight of 300-600 kg, a height at the withers of up to 2 meters with massive shovel-shaped horns with a span of up to 180 cm.
Important: Females are hornless and are forbidden to be shot.
The moose is cautious, but during the rutting season (September-October), the males lose their vigilance, emitting a characteristic "moose moan", which facilitates manna hunting. Due to its long legs, moose are vulnerable when shooting at the body, and it is best to aim under the shoulder blade or neck.
